Sign Design
A friend of mine is opening a small cafe here in town. She wants it to be a happening place with a unique modern feel. Something that will appeal to a crowd between the ages of 18 and 50. She has been asking everyone she knows what would be cool. When she told me that she will have little monitors and keyboards that are inlaid in the table tops my first thought was that she needs to get some cool digital signage placed all around the dining room. They could display the menu or interesting messsages that match her ...

Fully Stocked Office
With my organization efforts for this year fully underway, I am noticing that all of my office supplies are running low. No, its not a real office, its my home office, but I take it seriously. I like having everything I need at my fingertips at home and at work. I need to stock up on pens that work, staples, paper, ink and a lot more. So, if you will excuse me, I think I'll start shopping right now. ...

How to Treat Minor Acne
I thought acne was something only teenagers got. My husband is proof of the fact that even older people can get it. He never had perfect skin, but lately he seems to be developing some minor acne. He thought it was a rash becasuse, like me, he thought you only got acne as a teen. He went to the doctor and the doctor told him it was minor acne and that he shouldn't worry about it. He told him to just get some over-the-counter acne cream and it should clear up. ...

The Outside is as Important as the Inside
When you are fixing up your home, don't forget the outside. Landscaping is very important and certainly ups the value of your home. Plus, whatever else you set up out there is going to make a difference as well. For example, we just built a pergola, which in case you don't know is sort of a fancy grape arbor that is very big and actually sort of frames a room without walls. Right now, the patio furniture we choose will be very important to the feel we are trying to create. We are going to take our time making ...

Phentermine: The Active Ingrediant
I've been checking out the various over the counter drugs for weight loss. I'm trying to figure out what the differences are between them since they all make basically the same inflated claims. I'm not sure that this research will really help me out or not, but I have at least found one active ingrediant that is common among most of them and that ingrediant is: Phentermine. This must be what actually suppresses one's appetite. ...

High Def Home Movies
Ah, you know me and my desire for high tech gadgets. I just can't control myself....I need them all. I have a great camera that I just got...it's a Lumiz and I would rate it very high. I started playing with the digital movie function and it is really fun, but I'm not thinking I need to get a high definition camcorder to really have fun making movies. I mentioned it around my husband and he just doesn't get it...but I sure do. ...

Hey, My Book is There Too!
I signed up for a class the other day (just to keep my mind active) and they gave me a list of textbooks that I needed to get. I went online to do a search and first off, I was surprised that the textbook I needed came up on Buy dot com, but secondly, I was truly surprised to see that the book I wrote, entitled, Admission of Guilt, was for sale at Buy dot com as well. How cool! ...

Gaming Grandma
My grown children have begun calling me, "Gaming Grandma". They think that's funny! First off, they have not yet blessed me with grandkids, and secondly I don't think there is anything hysterical about someone looking at 60 being into gaming. Heck, it was my generation that created it. My birthday just passed and the boys were asking me what I wanted. I told them I needed a new xbox 360 because mine got damaged when it was ripped from its shelf during a moment of excitement. They really laughed at that. ...

Audio Organization
I'm still designing my home theater. My husband thinks it is a waste of money and space, but after I sat in the one at Disney World, I have to have one. I've got most of it laid out, but with the design, I have to find a way to organize various components. For one thing, I need some audio racks to organize the surround sound components. My son told me to check out a website called standsandmounts dot com. He says they have everything you can think of at great prices. ...

Vacation Time Again
Guess what? Yep, its that time of year again. I need very much to get out of town and away from my job just to relax a bit. I contacted some places about Orlando vacations and we decided we are going to do it. I miss Florida and considering I was born and raised there, there are still some places I haven't been. This year we are going to Universal and Seaworld. I'm excited because I have never been to either place. ...
