Capella Sponsors a Charter School

A recent press release revealed that Capella University a leader in the field of online education is now sponsoring a charter school called East Range Academy of Technology and Science (ERATS). Capella says that the new schools focus will be on technology, science and entrepreneurship. The first day of school which was September 4, 2007 welcomed 65 tenth through twelfth graders. The students are no doubt going to be excited about the personalized academics that are thoughtfully chosen for each individual to maximize their success in school and in the future. These are real world programs for real kids that acknowledge the fact that not everyone is going to be mathematician or get an
online psychology degree . I say cheers to ERATS for stepping out of the box and to Capella for supporting them.
