It is just about time to start planning the summer vacation. I really want to do something very different. For many years we did a lot of international travel which was a lot of fun. However, the finances are a bit tighter this year, so I need to find something here in the US to do. Cruising is always an option as the price is controlled since we are not gamblers and we are not much on drinking a lot, but cruises are all the same. Once you have done one cruise, everything is a rerun. Even using different cruise lines, I don’t see much difference. A friend of mine keeps saying I need to come visit her and this might be the year for that. She is in California and wants to show us the San Diego night life . Actually that sounds pretty appealing. The airline tickets are high, but we can stay with her and we can cook most of our meals at her house and that will give us more to spend as far as entertainment.
