I know that almost everyone I know is really concerned about their investments. Many of them are investing in stocks and are freaking out daily as watch the market on their desktop ticker. I remember in 2000 I did the same. However, after black Wednesday and just repeated poor performance., I took what was left of my lifesavings and simply put it in a high-yield savings account. Ultimately, I ended up pulling the cash and using it as a down payment on a house. I have to say I felt a bit of guilt about not having any investments when someone told me about precious metals. I am a huge fan of gold, but I have to accept the fact that my budget only allows for silver, but that’s okay. I’m having a great time accumulating my stash.
