I told her she should call the police immediately and she said no. I told her to hang up and I’ll call and she started freaking saying “no, please no, Rob will beat the hell out me…probably kill me….I shouldn’t have said anything. Please” then she hung up on me. I swear to God all these people are nuts. My husband decides to call Sherry and see what kind of things she says. And boy did she say some things…. My husband gets on the phone and calls his sister, Sherry. Sherry says that Marvin, Claire’s youngest and only surviving brother (a retired banker at Claire’s bank) shows up at the nursing home to visit his sister. He starts asking Sherry where Ron, the grandson is. She tells him that he left in a huff. Marvin then told her that she needed to find a lawyer to help them deal with Ron. He tells her that he went to bank and spoke to old friends of his about what was going on. They allowed him to view surveillance tapes. Well, he started with the day she had her stroke and yep, there’s Ron, emptying out her safe deposit box of whatever it held. According to the time stamp it was within 2 hours of her going to the hospital. Right at the moment it doesn’t mean much, but I think it will in the future.
