Banks are finally getting competitive

I’ve been banking with the same bank for a long time. I have my pay direct deposited and my husband has his retirement direct deposited, so I’ve never really thought about banking somewhere else. But, man, today I think everyone needs to take a look at what your bank is paying your for your savings account and your checking. I didn’t realize there was such a difference. My bank is only giving me 1% and they charge me low balance fees. There are places like WAMU that charge no fees and are paying over 3% on their
savings accounts . I guess its time to start shopping around.
