My uncle died from mesothelioma about eight years ago. It was a terrible thing because he really suffered. First he went from about 200 pounds down to about 125 pounds. He was so weak he couldn’t even walk. It was also very sad, because all of us in the family just watched helplessly. We didn’t know what caused it and just figured it was like other cancers in that if you had the genes, you got it.
Well, now they say it is from asbestos exposure and you see advertisements everywhere about lawyers taking these cases. I wonder if there is a statue of limitations on these kind of cases?
