A friend of mine has been out of work due to his health for about three years. We have all told him that he should apply for SSD but until now, he was resistant, hoping that he would get better. So, he has decided to apply on his own, which we all think is probably a waste of time. We think he should get help from Allsup to apply for his social security benefits. They say that 60 - 70% of all applicants get turned down on the first try, so why not get help from an experienced professional. Maybe if he would, he could get it the first time around.
